Metrics today announced the general availability of jetNEXUS Accelerator.
This addition to the successful jetNEXUS
portfolio provide web acceleration in the non IIS environment.
Commenting
on the launch, David Hudson, managing director at Web Metrics said

Accelerator is targeted at those that host or control their own web
site. It is an appliance that runs the proven jetNEXUS compression
code and sits in front of the web server farm. Massive download speed
improvements and bandwidth usage reductions are achieved through compression
of base page, style sheets and javascript. Users visiting the web site will
receive the page much faster and are therefore more likely to visit again or
buy on-line.
